Fava Pot

Over a decade ago, Fava Pot food truck burst onto the Northern Virginia scene, captivating taste buds with its explosive Egyptian flavors. Since then, they’ve garnered awards and expanded their reach, now serving up incredible meals not only from the truck but also at locations in DuPont Circle and Falls Church. From the outset, their commitment to locally sourced ingredients, creating a welcoming family atmosphere, and delivering authentic Egyptian flavors set them apart. Their excellence was quickly recognized when they were named one of “America’s 26 Best Food Trucks” by Food Network.

With the addition of brick-and-mortar locations, Fava Pot has not only expanded their menu but also elevated their culinary offerings, exploring new flavors, spices, and culinary creations. Every item on their menu, including their freshly baked bread, is crafted in-house, reflecting their unwavering dedication to quality and authenticity.

From antibiotic-free chicken to grass-fed beef and authentic Middle Eastern spices, Fava Pot ensures that every customer enjoys the best possible dining experience, reminiscent of home-cooked meals. Their commitment to quality is evident in every detail – from slow-cooked fava beans infused with special spices to freshly made hummus served multiple times a day, and bread served piping hot regardless of the time you stop by.

The owner’s personal journey, moving to the DC area in 2004 and longing for true Egyptian cuisine, inspired her to create a taste of her homeland for others to enjoy. Over the past decade, Fava Pot has not only showcased Egyptian cuisine with great respect but has also provided the people of Northern Virginia with a culinary haven, fostering a warm family atmosphere for all who visit. Undoubtedly, Fava Pot has achieved its goal, and we’re all fortunate to be part of their extended family.
