Melania, the genius behind this cozy spot, has been honing her craft her entire life. From Costa Rica to Barcelona and finally to D.C., she has mastered the art of creating incredible pastries, chocolates, and treats that are as beautiful as they are delicious. With a Master’s in Chocolate and a Bachelor’s in Pastry and Baking, her resume speaks for itself—but even that doesn’t fully capture her talent until you take a bite of her creations.
Upon arriving, the charming front porch with tables and chairs immediately sets the tone for the experience. The warmth continues inside, where the old home-turned-bakery gives off a cozy, familiar vibe, making you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly friendly, taking the time to explain each item with passion, showing how much they stand behind what they create.
