But once through the doors, you’re greeted by a celebration of exceptional wine, craft beer, and a menu that is nothing short of stunning.
While the extensive drink selection is impressive, let’s talk about the food—because it’s truly remarkable. The menu evolves with the seasons, ensuring fresh flavors, and each dish is a testament to the creativity of Chef Madeline Kish and Sous Chef Lis Maldonado. Chef Kish may be a local, but her culinary vision goes far beyond the ordinary, weaving Creole and Cajun influences into dishes you won’t typically find in Northern Virginia. From a rich Cajun beef Bolognese lasagna to the delightfully flavorful Natchitoches meat pies, every bite brings an unexpected and delightful twist.
Despite the restaurant’s modest size, Revel manages to produce everything on the menu in-house, using locally sourced ingredients and adapting to the seasons as much as possible. This dedication to quality and craftsmanship is evident in every dish.
