With 5 locations around the DMV area it seems that Shilla is doing something right. I didn’t have high expectations when I went only because it’s located in a mall. In Tyson’s corner this Asian style bakery seems to have a lot to choose from. Everything is wrapped and being in a mall it’s safe to say they aren’t making the food in house. But it’s still better than I thought it would be. The prices were better than expected and for the size of the location they had more options than you’d think as well. Some seating is available if you decided on one of the cake slices you need to sit for. It’s not a great bakery. I don’t think you’d go out of your way to come here. But if you’re in the mall and want something sweet. It’s a pretty good option. Staff were extremely friendly and overall it was better than expected. For a mall bakery.
