Update Sept 4, 2024 - The Ballston location has closed. Locations in D.C. are still available)
This small chain is a nice addition to the coffee shop world of DC. There are four locations as of now. Three in Washington D.C. and one in the Ballston area of Arlington, VA. I visited the Ballston location and can say if the other three are anything like this shop, they will have more locations to come in the future. A nice open space with plenty of seating. High ceiling makes it feel bigger than it is. Usually that could cause it to be louder than it should but I didn't notice. everyone there working on a laptop or phone. You order on tablets at the counter. They do have someone there to answer questions. It wasn't busy when I went in but I can see this method speeding things up during busy hours. I tried a seasonal drink. The sweet potato latte. I was talked into it and really glad I was. Tasted like a fall drink should taste. I also liked the lemon poppyseed scone very much. A small menu of sandwiches and drinks. A great place for a quick drink, pastry or sandwich. The Ballston area doesn't have convent parking like a lot of places in the area. If you're in Ballston and want a coffee or sandwich I would say give this place a try.
