Sweetbites Cafe and Bakery

Whoever is in the back of Sweetbites Cafe and Bakery is some sort of magician. I can't wrap my head around how in such a small space they turn out so many tasty things to choose from. Everything made in house from their baked goods to their sandwiches. The only thing negative about the options are there a just too many that look incredible. You could eat there everyday for a week and still not try everything they have to offer. They make cakes, bars, cupcakes and plenty of other sweets for special occasions. For breakfast there are daily made muffins, scones, croissants, breads and local yogurt with homemade granola. A very small space inside with only a few tables. More availability outside with tables on Elm St. I overheard a customer talking about how much they liked the breakfast burrito, which is served all day. I was encouraged to order the cinnamon roll next time I stop in. They have some street parking in front but plenty of more in back in the large parking lot they share with an INOVA office. If there was any negative I could find it would be the lack of seating. Such a tight squeeze inside but on good weather days they have plenty of seating outside. I highly recommend trying Sweetbites Cafe and Bakery. I'm looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu. Maybe picking up some granola to take home as well. If you do go, be sure it's during the week. As of right now they are not opened on the weekends.
