To say that Swings takes coffee seriously is an understatement. Their dedication, passion, and respect for the coffee they sell are unparalleled. The first of the four Swings coffee shops we now know began in 2013, though the company itself started in 1916, over one hundred years ago when coffee was just 30 cents a pound. So it’s obvious they’ve had ample time to perfect their craft. Swings offers a variety of snacks, including cookies, donuts, muffins, and croissants, along with the usual fare. Tables and chairs are available for patrons to sit, enjoy their beverage, or do some work. At first glance, it may seem like a typical neighborhood coffee shop, but when it comes to coffee, Swings is anything but typical. They brew in-house behind a glass wall, showcasing the dedication to their craft. Using only ethically sourced beans from small family farms, they ensure that where their beans come from receives as much consideration as the taste and flavor itself. A significant aspect of their process involves giving back to the farms they work with, fostering long-lasting relationships to provide customers with the very best cup of coffee possible. Swings doesn’t cut corners, skip steps, or take the easy road. They prioritize quality and take pride in what they love. Their dedication and passion shine through in every cup. In my opinion, you can’t achieve the level of quality that Swings demonstrates without passion.
