The Falls

After five years of Liberty Barbecue, the Liberty Tavern Restaurant Group, known for establishments like Northside Social, Lyon Hall, and Liberty Tavern, has transformed its casual BBQ spot in Falls Church into a new dining gem: The Falls. With a complete rebranding, featuring a cozy ambiance, laid-back vibe, and a seasonal menu, The Falls embraces the evolving culinary scene in Falls Church. In an area often underrated for its dining options, Falls Church has witnessed a surge in new restaurants since Covid, making The Falls’ fresh look and feel perfectly in sync with the neighborhood.

The interior boasts a delightful upgrade, showcasing comfortable booths, an open floor plan, and a spacious bar. While retaining some old favorites like smoked wings, pulled pork, baby back ribs, and beef brisket from the Liberty Barbecue menu, The Falls introduces new dishes crafted from regional ingredients and house-made baked goods. Leveraging their connection with sister restaurant Northside Social, The Falls proudly sources its bread basket, featuring outstanding biscuits, cornbread, and coffee cake.

For an immersive experience with The Falls’ new menu, consider indulging in their weekend brunch. Opt for the enticing all-you-can-eat brunch priced at just $29, offering a variety of delectable options. This isn’t your typical brunch buffet; it’s an opportunity to order and savor as much as you desire, a delightful way to explore the diverse offerings. My brunch experience left me eager to return for dinner as soon as possible.

Amidst Falls Church’s increasingly competitive food scene, The Falls has successfully elevated its atmosphere from the moment you step through the door. They maintain the outstanding barbecue that contributed to their past success while introducing delicious breads from their in-house bakery. With a stellar team of hosts, waitstaff, bartenders, and cooks, The Falls has become a culinary treasure that Falls Church is fortunate to have.
