In downtown Vienna, block north of Main is a small shop with a very straight to the point name. The Sandwich Shop. It may be a pretty basic name but I promise it's the only basic about this wonderful lunch spot. The menu reads like most menus at a sandwich shop, with hot and cold subs. Cold cuts to cheesesteaks. Different breads and cheeses. Exactly what you'd expect walking into a place called The Sandwich Shop. What separates this place from the rest is they do everything well. I have never been disappointed from any of their sandwiches. They have the sandwich making process down to a science. Putting out more tasty lunches than a store that size should be able to. The do a great job of creating a sandwich profile. The right amount of each ingredient to balance it just right. Whether you're in the mood for tuna or chicken, hot or cold, sub or semolina, they have a sandwich for you. Easy ordering process online. Friendly staff to help you while you're there. They do a lot of online and to-go orders. They do have seating available both indoors and outside. If you haven't tried The Sandwich Shop I highly recommend you grab lunch there one day soon. If you've already been, go back and try something new. Opened Tuesday though Friday 11:00 to 7:00, Saturday and Sunday 11:00 to 3:00, closed Monday. Quality ingredients, friendly service and quick food makes it a perfect place for lunch.
