Thelo Greek Kuzino

From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’re walking into a Greek family kitchen for Sunday dinner. Located in Great Falls, about half a mile off Leesburg Pike, Thelo Greek Kuzina immediately sets a welcoming tone.

The staff is extremely friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel like family. The hospitality is off the charts. I can’t think of another restaurant in Northern Virginia that is as accepting and welcoming as the family running Thelo Greek Kuzina.

The dining room is small, maybe accommodating two dozen people or so, with an open kitchen. The kitchen may look small, but they produce a large menu filled with traditional Greek dishes and cuisine.

It wasn’t until after dining at Thelo Greek Kuzina that I discovered the same family owns the incredible Bread & Water Bakery in Alexandria and Bun Papa—two places I’ve already reviewed and both are fantastic. It’s no surprise this family-owned business is so welcoming and delicious.

Dining at Thelo Greek Kuzina is a great experience. With an authentic Greek menu, quaint decor, and ambiance, and most of all, a sense of family, it’s a place where you can truly feel the love and passion for Greek cuisine. After meeting the family behind this establishment, I can see where the dedication to great food and hospitality comes from.
