Self-proclaimed 'weird brothers', Paul and Kenny Olsen opened their first coffee shop in Herndon, VA and since then, they have added two more locations in northern Virginia. All three heavily focused on quality of coffee and the beans. Are the three locations weird? Yes, in a very delightful way. They share many similarities. First impression, you can see how serious they take their coffee, offering lots of options of beans, especially bags of beans to take home and grind. However, they are also have some differences. Two locations in Herndon. The original, The Roasting Factory, is a much smaller space but they make do with what they have nicely. You can see a video here as the take you through MTV Cribs-style. Second location in Herndon, located at the Worldgate Metro Plaza near the corner of Dulles toll road and Centreville Rd. Third is in the Leesburg Village Center. A comfortable place good for bringing some work with you. You can see a lot of interesting pictures on the wall and lots of Star Wars. They all offer coffee drinks, pastries and some sandwiches. Mostly a few things to eat but the main focus is the coffee. All three are good places to get a great cup of coffee. I encourage you to check out their website to see the story of the brothers. I enjoyed my visits to Weird Brothers Coffee. I think you will too.
